New Somerset Railway Service

Jo spent the day with Hugh Graham exploring the towns of Frome, Bruton and Castle Cary. He wanted to get a feel for local opinion on a proposed new ‘crowd funded’ railway service that would improve local connections within the county.

General opinion was that it would be well received and make a difference to locals but perhaps not continue the push towards the ‘posh commuter belt’ that the press continue to expect.
